It wouldn’t let me run back through the whole play, but there was one out, Damon was on third, and I had Jeter caught in between second and third. The most I could get was when I turned Jeter back towards third, and he did some kind of wierd-ass belly flop right in the middle of the base line. So I just figured, ah screw it, I’m gunna send everyone home. So Damon heads home, Jeter rounds third to follow, the throw to home was in planty of time and Damon barrels of Joe Mauer who holds on to the ball for the second out, then all Jeter’s gotta do it step on home plate for another run!……..But apparently Jeter was really pissed off at Mark Teixeira about something (maybe he plowed Jeters girl, i dunno) and decided to run head first into him instead of scoring another run. By the way this play was a double steal, so Teixeira was just the batter there, and he stepped out of the box, so that’s why he was there. But I have know idea why A-Rod was sliding around in the background, he was on deck, so I have no idea……You can see him in one frame of the video before I pointed him out, he’s just sliding around on the Twins logo behind home plate, and then falls into some kind of invisible black hole on the ‘S’ in ‘Twins’. Yeah, that pretty much sums up MLB 2K9, but I (like many baseball fans who own a 360) have to deal with it. I’d definately buy MLB 09: The Show if it were available on the 360 (even if there is a Red Sox player on the Cover…..)
