being a player and/or having some coaching experience in a lower level playing well as a player.
If you play or have played the game try coaching first and see if any doors open up for you. If you don’t play it may be harder, but you could go to school for business and see if the team offers any kind of marketing or publicity internships and work your way up from there. Thats essentially how Theo Epstein got started.
just play to ur ability cause u never know when a scout could be in the crowd
